The Best Ever Panzanella Salad...The American Girl version.


This is my American Girl version of a classic salad.

Fresh Cherry Tomatos

Petit Jean brand Bacon



Fried and Diced.
  


Reserve the Bacon Grease (uhm)

and

Cube and Fry some type of bread.




The bacon grease will soak up quick

so get your favorite olive oil 

and add plenty to fry the bread to a golden brown.


Half the tomatos.

Cube Fresh Mozzerrella.

Drain Capers, couple of tablespoons

and dice the bacon.

Salt and Pepper the tomatos

and then add the above items in the bowl.


Make a Vinegrette.


I used the White Wine Vinegar

Olive Oil and Salt and Pepper.


A pinch of Thyme.


Shake well


Add the cooled bread.


Pour on Vinegrette.

Toss!


My ChevyMan sits in his chair

eating this 

while the rest of his dinner is cooking

away in the kitchen. 

I have to make a very small portion of this 

because I don't like it left over

but I do like it to sit for a bit before we eat it.

You could feed a crowd with this as an easy option.
